Technology and Emerging Energy

certificate-technology

At GSM, we focus on technologies that improve our ability to manufacture products that meet international standards.

Our low voltage switch gear and control gear assemblies underwent the stringent type testing in ASTA (now Intertek), and were certified to IEC 60439-1:1999 in 2002. In 2012, we developed a new range of products which were certified by KEMA and DEKRA to IEC 61439-2 : 2011 and IEC/TR 61641, edition 2.0, 2008-01standards.

The compliance of international standards led GSM to be the leading supplier of low voltage switch gear and control gear assemblies to numerous metro projects in Singapore, namely the Circle Line, Northeast Line and Downtown Line, as well as data centres, namely Thomson Reuters, Yahoo, SingTel, Equinix, NTT, VISA, NCS, IDA, Microsoft, ST and M1.

Apart from complying with many international standards, we also work with the notable concept of Operational Safety, which presents customers with considerable added value including significant financial savings, and safe and smooth business operations.

Combined with the fast, enthusiastic dynamics of the independent, integrated skills of our people, GSM is also at the forefront of emerging energy technologies, such as solar technology and renewable energy resources, where we supply low voltage switch gear to one of the largest experimental power grid facilities in the world, situated in Singapore’s Jurong Island – the Experimental Power Grid Centre.
